"In a lot of ways, you could say Audio makes up half your AMV.
It is not just *background music*. Choose it carefully, and treat it well."

WELCOME TO SECTION I: AUDIO

Introduction

I think one of the reasons Audio is so important in an AMV is because you have very little control over it. Sure there are some things you can do to alter the audio... which we will discuss in the Audio-Editing Section... but generally, once you have your audio, you are pretty much stuck with it; so don't take your audio choice lightly. It is crucial to the success of your AMV. Generally speaking, if the audio does a good job at maintaining listener attention, it would be a good song for an AMV. Otherwise, you better have a good plan for keeping the audience engaged.

TIPS:
  • Know the difference between Melody, Rhythm, and Beat.
  • Listen to a range of Musical Genres; develop Eclectic taste.
  • Listen to some Albums I like. Maybe Google some Music Recommendations too.
